As a conductor, Yu Hng had lessons with Christopher Austin (RAM) and had taken part in conducting workshops

by Colin Metters and Joseph Fort (KCL). He has conducted several church and school choirs, as well as chamber ensemble rehearsals of his own compositions. Recent experiences include conducting the King's College Chorus for the 2019 Spring concert and Casella's Serenata (op.46) for the Royal Academy of Music composers' conducting workshop.
